In the new hit Syfy reality series “Haunted Collector,” world renowned paranormal investigator John Zaffis travels the country hunting down haunted items that are plaguing their owners. With the help of his son Chris, daughter Aimee, and paranormal investigators Beth Ezzo and Brian Cano, Zaffis traces the origins of items such as paintings, guns, knives, bullets, jewelry and antiques that may be the source of paranormal problems. The team conducts a full 24-hour investigation at the home or business in question, checking for unexplained electromagnetic fields and electronic voice phenomena. They also use thermal imagery and night surveillance to investigate claims made by the client. If the evidence points towards a particular object - and the client wants it removed - Zaffis removes the item and stores it in his "Museum of the Paranormal" in Stratford, CT, safely away from the public. In season one the Haunted Collector crew visit an alehouse and haunted hotel in New Mexico, a library in Connecticut, homes in Lake Charles Louisiana, Pomona, California, and Hubert North Carolina, among others.
